I love that pokemon trailer. It is win.
A loli ban may be a good thing for the industry and animators can get back to making anime with story rather then just plain fanservice.
@Bibred2989
While I would love for animators to get back to making anime with story, banning Loli/Shouta (they usually go hand in hand) is not the way.
Seriously, think about the number of anime with characters that seem underaged. Freaking Dragonball would get banned, at least certain episodes, under this law. Dragonball. And what about legitimatly good anime that happen to have a scene or two that seem a bit risque or Ecchi? Instant ban.
Also, the sheer number of people it would put out of work is mind boggling, since a fair number of Mangaka, animators, etc, suddenly wouldn’t be allowed to make/distribute their goods anymore, at least in the major commercial center that is Tokyo. Everywhere else would be fine, but when one area goes through with something stupid, either; A: No-one follows it and some arrests occur; B: The law gets struck down; C: Ppeople stop enforcing it; or D: Every area follows suit. Lets hope that D stays far, far away from reality.
