Today moe maids give you something to be afraid of, Viz gives us some free manga, and 91.8 The Fan starts its first ever AMV contest. For contest rules make sure to hit the jump!

Here are the rules for the AMV Staff Contest:

• Do not unveil the video to anyone before the contest end date (whether for beta, critics, or open contests).
• Do not reveal your music, anime, or anything else to other opponents.
• You’re limited to using MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 10 through 15.
• You’re free to use any graphic editor.
• Footage cannot have subtitles, but feel free to use anything from anime, games, and live-action. Just keep in mind that anime should be the majority (aka at least 75% of each entry must contain anime or anime-oriented footage, this includes intros and credits).
• Please make sure that there is at least one version of the video submitted at 720×480 pixels in size and at a frame rate of 29.97fps (NTSC).
• The ending result must be posted on YouTube, Blip.TV, and AnimeMusicVideos.Org
• Manage your time wisely. The contest starts April 23rd 12:00 (midnight) PST, and ends on July 30th (midnight) 12:00 PST.
• The voting process will take place on August 5th when the results are posted up. The voters will be commenters and only be allowed to vote once by listing their favorite video in their comments.
• Your opponents are Kanashimi, Kibs, Saito, Sandgolem, and Shades. Good luck!
