Fanatic Hybrid Rain has sent us a submission for a short AMV / Opening that he made himself. Its pretty cool so check it out along with what he had to say about the whole experience. Please note the follow contains spoilers for the Rumbling Hearts series.

Okay, after watching That Dude In The Shades review on the AMV Viewers Choice Awards 2009, I decided to give AMVs a try. Before the internet and having a computer, I used to do a lot of AMVs on VHS (as you can imagine… quality of the video on VHS is crappy after a second recording), and I finished classes for now so I thought, “What the hell, let’s do test first like always and then to the real thing…” So by the time I was thinking of this I was hearing on internet radio When You Were Young from The Killers, and suddenly I was browsing my favorites and saw an anime series I saw not long ago: Rumbling Hearts.

I suddenly remembered the one scene that practically made me watch the whole freaking series. It’s a love story, but is more like a tragic-comedy, and decided to join this two into something I like to call:

“What If…”

So what I want to do a AMV that is kickass and some personal cuts on some series, like changing the music of the opening or maybe how would a trailer of the anime would had been better, you get the idea.

So for all of you I bring you the first “What If… Rumbling Hearts episode two ending had When You Were Young music…?” And as a test too since is the first time in years that I’ve attempted to do an AMV.
