It must be ironic that despite the fact that 91.8 The Fan is an online radio station, we rarely write about music itself. Today I would like to amend that by highlighting a musical artist named Hiromi.

I'm not the type of person who has favorites. Most things are different from each other; not strictly better or worse. Oddly enough, I do happen to have a favorite song here on 91.8 The Fan. What song could be so great that it becomes the choral champion of my heart?

I recently came to the conclusion that online forums are like RPG dungeons. You gotta fight through the trolls and muck to find treasures of insight. One day I found some guy hawking his book titled King of RPGs. One diplomacy roll later, I found myself 20 copper pieces poorer with said book in my inventory.

There are people who see anime and manga and think to themselves, "This is cool! I want to make it too!" Pen is put to paper and Dojinshi, or self-published work, is the result. American anime fans take many cues from Japanese culture; including selling their dojinshis at various conventions. A long time ago at MangaNEXT I brought one of those dojinshis called SACRED.

Remember Trigun back in the day? Vash the Stampede was the man! He'd be all like "I'm goofy" and "Yum, donuts!" and "LOVE AND PEACE!" Wouldn't it be great if there was a Trigun movie? Wait, there is a Trigun movie coming out! Awesome!

The Voice Actor is a very usual occupation and the people who become Voice Actors are an interesting lot. They are known to occasionally gather at anime conventions (like AnimeNEXT). If one was to observe them for a prolonged period of time, you could learn many things.

Being part of the staff here at 91.8 The Fan is a seriously great thing. It’s rewarding in so many different ways I can’t even count them all. However, there is one benefit in my mind that reigns supreme above all others. By being part of 91.8 The Fan, I get to call myself a comrade of Kroze.

Tempest wasn't the only Fan writer to interview a cool person at a convention. I went to AnimeNEXT 2011 too you know! I even interviewed someone there! He's known as Chipocrite and he's really cool too! I totally sat down with him somewhere and asked him good questions with deep meanings. I'm sure you've been to an anime convention (or con) and thought to yourself, "I sure hate catgirls! I wish I could throw stuff at them!" We here at The Fan can't (officially) condone assaulting catgirls (no matter much they deserve it). What we can condone is playing cards games that simulate such acts. Whack A Catgirl is one of those card games.
