Before there was DJ Zero there was me, Cortland Rettburg, and while I haven't legally changed my name to "Zero Gravity" there was a time where anime events where purely for my self-satisfaction and amusement, in complete ignorance to other people's experiences. ConnectiCon, an anime convention held yearly in the ever expanding sector of Hartford, Connecticut, was my first and was always the "go to convention" for myself.

A little over a year ago a show called Cardfight!! Vanguard came out in Japan. After seeing it I thought that it would be the next big tcg craze. Shopping at the store I came across a booster pack for none other than this same show. In honor of this funny coincidence, today we take a look at Japan's newest card game NOT on a motorcycle.

I'm sure you've been to an anime convention (or con) and thought to yourself, "I sure hate catgirls! I wish I could throw stuff at them!" We here at The Fan can't (officially) condone assaulting catgirls (no matter much they deserve it). What we can condone is playing cards games that simulate such acts. Whack A Catgirl is one of those card games.
