Edie is probably best known for her vocal role in Digimon: Digital Monsters as the voice of Gatomon and her various digivolutions as well as her part in the Robotech franchise. On the video game field, she works on the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation games.

Dorothy has voiced a large number of anime roles, many of which are lead female parts in many well-known titles including Kaoru Kamiya from Rurouni Kenshin, Meryl Strife in Trigun, and Narusegawa in Love Hina..
