Press Release — Hawaiian Telcom Launches Anime Network On Demand

Houston, TX — September 7, 2012 — Anime Network has teamed up with Hawaiian Telcom to launch its fall programming lineup as Hawaiian Telcom’s first Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) package beginning Thursday, Sept. 6.

Found in the Extras On-Demand menu, Anime Network provides 45 hours of premium anime titles, representing genres including comedy, action and science fiction. Customers can also upgrade to premium on demand service from the remote under the My Accounts menu. With a broad programming line-up each month, the customers will have access to compelling new content each week. This fall’s premiere shows include Bodacious Space Pirates, award-winning Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and Persona 4: The Animation, based on the popular video game. Also returning to the schedule are fan favorites like Demon King Daimao and Princess Resurrection.
