Here is today’s fan submission from cj16bit. He sent us a list of Top 10 Anime that should get an OVA sequel. Did your favorite make the cut? Find out here and post your own opinion! Please note, the following article has spoilers.

1. Elfen Lied – This is the #1, and who ever has watched this knows why. There are just so many unexplained questions, such as “Who was at the door at the end?”, or “What’s going to happen to them?” So, all in all, so many unanswered questions.

2.Chobits – I personally want an OVA on this one just because I really enjoyed it, and I would love to see how Chii handles herself cooking and being in a relationship.

3.Happy Lessons Finale – This one just left me hanging, it was like she was crying cause of a building, and yet ended up being with the kid. I really wanted this OVA to be better, and I wanna know how they are going to be together and how are they going to go about in school; simple stuff like that .

4. Kamisama Kazoku – This one, again, is just for personal choice, just because I wanna see what happens with the relationship between God, son, and the angel.

5. Rozen Maiden – This anime was hilarious from the moment Sougintou appears until she leaves. I loved this anime and when I finished watching the last OVA… I was like “well where’s the last doll, where’s the creator, what’s going to happen to the dolls? What the heck is going on and what’s happening?” It’s like you were given a big twist in the story at the end, but not a conclusion or ending to it.

6. Shakugan no Shana – This anime was one of the first animes I started watching, and as such I have an attachment with it. However, when I watched the movie I was like “What the heck?” It’s the first season, then I finished watching the second season, and I’m like “Where is the rest? Is he going to leave the city? Is Shana going to confess? What’s going to happen?” I, at least, got my wish with this anime, as a third season was announced.

7. Sumomomo Momomo – This one is funny! Its just ended an episode too soon, like at the end he gets his powers back, doesn’t use them, lives, and that’s it. Where’s the rest? Like is he going to use his powers? What about the other families that haven’t attacked him? There’s still a lot of unanswered questions to this anime.

8. DearS – This one doesn’t need an OVA, per se. I just want one like them living life normally and stuff, pretty much the same thing that I want with Chobits.

9. Umisho – This one needs it! Why? Because both girls like him, but he never decides on which girl to go with, nor does he confess to either of the girls. There were probably making it like that to make a second season, but they never did.

10. Tsukyoma Moon Phase – This one ended with them saying that more monsters and vampires were going to hunt them and after that, it ends. Like why would you tell us that if you’re not going to freaking make another season? Its like you’re teasing us.

I know that a lot of you are going to say that the manga finishes it, or something like that, but if I wanted to read the manga, I would have read it in the first place. I want the anime to finish it, not the manga.

Praise Kasimasi Girl Meets Girl for actually finishing the anime with the wedding shit. I know there’s others that finish it, too, but that one just sticks in my head.
