What is 91.8 The Fan?

 91.8 The Fan was developed in hopes of extending the reach of anime media. It all started on a single idea to form an anime radio station that’s live 24/7. We also provide various shows that include the latest news, heated discussions, and overall just trying to bring more fun into the industry we all know & love! Who made or works on 91.8 The Fan?

 91.8 The Fan was founded by Sandgolem (or more formally known as Matthew Eis). Of course, while Sandgolem is our overseer, there are many people who help contribute to the content on the site. A list of our complete staff can be found here.





How can I work on 91.8 The Fan?

 We’re always looking for new people to volunteer at 91.8 The Fan. We require you to be passionate, have a decent amount of free time, and a reliability to do the work given. To find out more specific details please head over to our Volunteer section.





Do I have to pay to use 91.8 The Fan?

 Not at all! We’re 100% free for your pleasure.





What if I want to donate?

 We’ve set up a new system for those who want to give the site a little extra something. Instead of donating, we’ve created a VIP Area where you can become a Fanatic! Instead of a donation, we instead hope that you’ll purchase one of our premium subscriptions, which is an all access pass to content our regular users can’t get. This is basically a thank you for your contribution. Make sure to visit the VIP Area for more details, but if you still feel the need to donate despite being a Fanatic then please contact the administration on the Contact page.





Is this site safe for children?

 In most cases, yes. The overall site—this includes the shows, features, forums, and radio station—is rated PG-13.





How do I change my avatar when I comment?

 Our site, 91.8 The Fan, runs off of Wordpress at the current moment. Wordpress in turns uses a site called Gravatar to handle any avatar needs. Uploading an avatar is simple as all one needs to do is head over to the Gravatar website, sign up with the e-mail you use to comment with, and upload an avatar. Please make sure you have chosen the avatar, if you do not it will not show up! Any avatars rated above PG-13 will automatically not show.
