Directed and with a screenplay by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Demon City Shinjuku) the movie that’s been called a “gateway drug to anime” features character designs by Yutaka Minowa (Devil May Cry, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust) and music by Kaoru Wada (Inuyasha, Gilgamesh).
