How about a bigger world, about 5 continents, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Oore, maybe the Orange islands.

Just a huge world.

There isn't enough space on a DS card for that many continents.
The reason why Kanto in GSC was lacking so much was again, due to space on a Gameboy Cart, if you want that they would have to put it on a Wii Disc
