That certainly is a kind of MAD, but if you'll take a gander at the second video, in the post where I was on topic you'll that 11s make AMVs too. It also includes original animation and/or music, such as

 

though the music on that is only mostly original. MADs also have ♫♫♫♫ that's basically, and actually I'd imagine, sideshows, like

Skittles is okay, the video is way too busy though, but J-Rap is a hilarious concept to me.

Yes it is. It's probably labeled as such because people think they're interchangeable, and seeing how liberal the definition of AMV is getting in a couple more years and they might be.

I don't believe so, word on the street is it's based off the name of some of the first MADs, but I can't say for sure.
