Oh, actually I have some info about this too. It's not so much the next Gundam series as it is a sort of tie-in.

Gundam AGE is also a Level-5 RPG. Akihiro Hino and Level-5 were brought on to make a Gundam videogame, and Hino penned a plot summary, which Sunrise decided to turn into an anime. So in those terms it's more along the lines of something like Inazuma Eleven, and Danball Senki.
