Favorite 10 series, eh? Wish limit was 50. Oh well, here goes:

1. FLCL (all-time no.1 fav)
2. Cowboy Bebop (TV eps + movie sequel). Big draw was the Yoko Kanno jazz..
3.Welcome to the NHK
4.Neon Genesis Evangelion
5.Kimi ga Nogomu Eien (aka Rumbling Hearts)
6.Blue Submarine 6 (some philosophic gibberish, but love the Siamesy fish)
7.Kurokami the Animation (aka Black God in the manga versions)
8.Please Twins (wish main characters were depicted 2-3 years older though)
9.Planetes (most realistic depiction of a CEO I have ever seen in anime or movies since the movie "Parenthood")
10.Zoku Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei (pt.1 is a hoot, pt.2 gets too repetitive ~ pt.1)

Favorite movie (not anime) filmed in b&w: Seven Samurai (aka Shichinin no Samurai directed by Akira Kurosawa, 1954 release)
