Live action can be hit or miss. I liked the death note live action movies, I thought they were pretty good (not masterpieces, but still very watchable).

Personally I'd like to see an AD Police, Macross, Gasaraki or Detonator Orgun movie.

True, Live action is unpredictable.
And death note was ok but the ending was sorta disappointing, for me anyways!
