Re: Anyone read novels... ever?

Re Isaac Asimov: possibly not the true 2nd Coming of Christ but his body of work would warrant awarding him an uppercase letter G for literary God.

As for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy re Arthur Dent: the meaning of life is 42. You'll understand when you get that old.

I got lassoed into a book club once and we had to read "The Education of Little Tree". Fascinating little book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Based in 1930's Oklahoma during the Prohibition Era the story revolves around a 13-yr old full-blood Cherokee Indian lad who wishes to ignore "the Anglo Way" re good grade gratification in a white-run school and revert back to the ways and teachings of his grandparents. Good read, some of the themes relate to today in many ways.

Novels......novels! You mean paper is still used for reading, not merely printing fiat money????? Who knew!
