Monster Hunter 3 tri (Wii)
Hello everyone, I'm back again. (Although I am still fresh meat here, but hey what the heck right?)
Just got Monster Hunter 3 (tri) for the Wii and all I have to say is... its an AWESOME game. Sure it feels and plays like the previous Monster Hunter 1 and 2 for the PS2, and it has elements from Monster Hunter Portable 1 + 2 and Freedom 1 + 2, and Unite. Some of the new monsters are a pain on the butt like the Qurupeco (very annoying) but the challenge level on this game is GREAT. Specially the new underwater combat. Also the new weapons (which I won't get into detail about it.), and the variation of new and old items in the game which are very mind-boggling. For a Wii title, the graphics are great and the Online Mode is no push-over either. The online game play is one of the best on the Wii up to date next to Mario Kart and Conduit. I would say buy the game, but hey. Lets see what you all think about the game. :D

Not to forget that it makes your eyes sizzle when playing long hours. *red eyes*
Also playing with the Free Style Mode controller is pretty much fun. (Using the Wii Controller, instead of the Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro.)

Re: Monster Hunter 3 tri (Wii)
I have also bought Monster Hunter 3 Tri for the Wii
And it's awesome, I must agree. I particularly love how nice the online play is, and how quick it is to load! Very nice, in all! I'd say this is probably the best investment for Wii I will make all year. I don't think it deserves Game of the Year (Since it didn't incorporate old monsters as much as almost everyone would hope into the game... It's quite annoying we can't kill our beloved Khezu, Lao, or Yian Kut-Ku anymore...) BUT it definitely deserves some sort of award for it's multiplayer or graphics, wouldn't you all say? lol

Re: Monster Hunter 3 tri (Wii)
I'm intrigued...would this be fun for someone who hasn't played the rest of the series? Or should I start at the beginning?

Re: Monster Hunter 3 tri (Wii)
I've got two characters. A HR107 and HR38. I got bored like a month after it came out and stopped for a long while. I wouldn't mind catching a match or two, though. Currently playing Portable 3rd.
