The Official "Guilty Pleasure" Anime Thread...

Hey just wondering... Could Highschool of the Dead be considered a Guilty Pleasure because I finished that recently and while it's an awesome series, it does have that kind of "Guilty Pleasure" feel to it with all the umm... fan service... Not to mention the blood. lots and lots of it... mmm...

I guess the key point is whether it's a pleasure to you that there is a lot of fan service in blood. So not only are you reluctant to tell your friends that you watch that show, you like the show for the very reason you're shameful in the first place.

HOTD, to me, wouldn't be a guilty pleasure because I didn't mind showing it to my friends, and while I'm a bit shamed by the amount of fanservice in it, it's just over-the-top to the point that it's not like I'm enjoying it because it's ecchi but rather because it's pretty hilarious how ridiculous it is.

Yeah I talk about it with my friends... I mean they watch it too and it's just an awesome Anime... However it's bordering what you can get away with in fan service certain parts of the anime.... that's why it's a guilty pleasure... I mean did you ever watch Episode 6? That Bath scene and what follows is a little too raunchy...
