Not so much silly in the sense of silly, but silly in terms of time spent I suppose.
I want to get better at drawing, so I'm reading art books, I just read The New Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and at the start and end you draw a self portrait. I sucked before, and truly, I still suck, but I suck notably less.  ((Also if it helps my case any, instead of using a mirror I tilted my turned off laptop and used that reflection...))

I do draw a bit, so here's some of my drawings. The only part in these that was traced was the Logo next Harpuia, and even that didnt come out so well.
