Though from a legal stand point 4Kids might have not have done anything wrong. From what I can gather in the ANN article there's nothing about getting 50% of a "service fee". This was probably exactly what 4Kids was thinking to save on money. It's seedy, but if there's nothing that is all encompassing or such in the contract 4Kids has with TV Tokyo then there is a good chance of them getting away with it.

Granted, there's a lot of factors it depends on, but something to think about.

Looks like 4Kids are a bunch of digital dummies!

lol Kaya too bad they dont hav Rocket Powered Fists. but i just gotta say the way 4Kids carries their anime around is just in bad taste. you rarely see ppl saying "ISNT 4KIDS FANTASTIC!?!?" i feel its more of an industry and economic way of thinking for them than doing so for the fans rlly.
anime series that actually appealed to me were the Yugioh series but i find it in bad taste that they file lawsuits against Little Kuriboh's abridged. i may not be seeing the whole thing so i guess i should look up a lil more on the 4Kids situation

I love 4KidsTV! I got some great news for 4Kids Huntik Season 2 is coming this November!

For some reason this made me lol, but to think of 4kids going down is rather sad. We'd be loosing some of the better anime and cartoons that we all know and love. But we all have been wondering what 4Kids have been up to, and it does actually seem like a lot of trouble for them to get into, mainly thier own fault.
But just to think, what would happen to the anime and cartoons such as Pokemon and YGO 4kids have bought.... Would they just be cancelled?

On one hand, these poozers did a number on some of my favorite childhood animes.

On the other, they were good at hooking kids into them and introducing them to the world of manga and anime.

You have a point, but lack of re-release with more accurate scripting, no editing and probably some new voice actors has encouraged older fans, mainly purest to pirate the original Japanese version of Yu-Gi-OH.

I agree, they did a bad job with a lot of animes, but like you said: They did get kids watching.

To be honest, I would feel a little sad if 4Kids would go bust. One way or another, they did get me into anime. For that, I am grateful.

4Kids will always hold a special place in the anime world. Sure, many fans despise several of the decisions that the company has made over the years, but if it wasn't for 4Kids, we wouldn't have had as many things to complain about.

All joking aside, 4Kids does deserve a lot of credit for the work that they've done introducing anime to that younger market.

4Kids pretty much sucks compared to Funimation if you compare the dub to the original.

4Kids is airing Yu-Gi-OH Zexal and the theme songs sounds too put together and uninspired.
