GracefulDisaster is meh
Some sort of timelapse.

I animated this gif because I felt like exploring the aesthetic development of a character. if it's too large to fit on your screen, right click > open in new tab and it'll take you to a page with a smaller size where you can simply zoom in.

I realize it was pretty lazy and I probably could have at least doubled the frames, but I think it's alright for my first ever.

Please tell me what you guys think!

Re: Some sort of timelapse.

The animation that's there is really nice The growth itself is very steady, and upon closer look saw the little extra details of growth in the lashes, and *ahem* other growth areas.

Since you've brought up the fact that for a first attempt you've halved the frames, so I'll try and critique it based on the fps given and the use of the frames. and not just say something like "use more frames yo, make it smoother"

I really like the basis of the animation, and I understand when it comes to animating, for efficiency you need to animate as little as possible, and you can see that often even in professional grade animation, however, I think the one issue with this is the lack of effect the changes have on the rest of the character.

As an animation, how the hair flows on and around the characters clothes and body would be effected during the movement, as well as the rest of the hair that isn't growing out and being styled. I think cleaned up a little, and adding a little more movement to the hair that would be moved by the growth, and altering slightly how the growing hair interacts with the characters body and clothing it would be amazing. The only other criticism I have is every hairstyle seems to have 3-4 frames of growth, except the last style.
