| Free! Nanase Haruka loved to be in the water - loved swimming. In elementary school, Nanase Haruka, Tachibana Makoto, Matsuoka Rin, and Hazuki Nagisa attended the same swimming class together. Time passed, and as Haruka was living an uneventful high school life, he suddenly encountered Rin again. Rin challenged Haruka to a race and showed him how much stronger he had become. Soon enough, Makoto and Nagisa also rejoined the group, and along with a new classmate, Ryugazaki Rei, they established the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. |

Free! Episode 008 Discussion
Hey Rin, you jealous yet you little piece of ♫♫♫♫? He was a complete jerk the entire episode. Makoto almost told him off, but as soon as he saw Rei he immediately realized when you're a horrible person that cheats and lies, you get replaced. Relationships have to be maintained, you can't just will them to exist. It doesn't work that way. He's getting exactly what he deserves.
In addition, everyone doing second place (or for Rei worse) was a little disappointing, but reasonable considering that they had only been practicing a month. Makoto was adorable in this one. My gawd.

I can't wait to see Rei beat Rin in a one on one match near the end of the series. Because ♫♫♫♫ that Sasuke ♫♫♫ Suzaku ♫♫♫ irredeemable loser.
Also, more cliffs, this feels like a kreedz map in counter strike! Eat it Rin! you got replaced! OH YEAH!
