Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin I: Blue-Eyed Casval
Gundam the Origin is a manga depicting the fully fleshed out story intended for Gundam 0079, with some added bits and pieces. The books are available now (and are well worth a read).
An OVA series about Gundam the Origin is going to be released with the first OVA "Blue-Eyed Casval" being released for February 28th with long periods in between OVAs (basically, just like "Gundam Unicorn"). So expect a once a year OVA. A 7 minute preview was uploaded to GundamInfo, here is the English version

I just wish it was an actual series. I'm hoping with this 7 minute preview, they'll post it on GundamInfo.

This is why Bandai of American failed, in my opinion, they went by the Japanese market pricing, which doesn't work in American economy, it's too rich
