| Free! Nanase Haruka loved to be in the water - loved swimming. In elementary school, Nanase Haruka, Tachibana Makoto, Matsuoka Rin, and Hazuki Nagisa attended the same swimming class together. Time passed, and as Haruka was living an uneventful high school life, he suddenly encountered Rin again. Rin challenged Haruka to a race and showed him how much stronger he had become. Soon enough, Makoto and Nagisa also rejoined the group, and along with a new classmate, Ryugazaki Rei, they established the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. |

 Eat it! Then he has to sulk the entire festival because he's been a douche nozzle the entire time. Makoto be my waifu. Haru, you got some moe on you. Rei is an amazing sneak, like I was pretty impressed with his ninja skills. I liked this episode so much.

Especially the sneaking past Nitori, lol. All in all this episode was awesome. I loved Rin getting his comeuppance, and everyone else enjoying the relay victory.
It seems like as much of a staple as a beach episode to have a festival episode and as a fan of the kacho, I'm glad it was squid based.
