Re: Girl's Generation/SNSD
Girls' Generation recently came out with their new Japanese single Love & Girls. I've linked the video above for those of you curious. Culturally the song makes sense since Japan is super big on "summer" type of songs. Personally, it's not my favorite Girls' Generation song. It took a few listens for me to get into it. The video is also somewhat disappointing. I mean it's neat to see them dance with drag queens, but it's such a colorful video it's really hard to point out the girls. Thoughts? |

I can always depend on J-Pop/K-Pop to have more colorful M/Vs than American ones

Re: Girl's Generation/SNSD
Girls' Generation did their first flash mob in Japan this summer. Sadly, it was raining, but somehow didn't stop them and 4,000 fans from preforming. Elmo was totally upstaged by Cookie Monster.
I didn't think this song would be so popular, but I think it's the whole every artist in Japan needs a summer song. Their summer's are so hot, why would you celebrate that? xD |

Catchy song. I don't know any of them managed to avoid slipping at some point. That stage looked like it was very slick XD

Re: Girl's Generation/SNSD
Girls' Generation is ending their promotions with Mr. Mr., but I gotta say I loved the lives so much. They're probably one of my favorite live performances in the past few years. |
