Edit; they're talk about cosplay reminds me on my incomplete Snorlax costume.

It's a giant Snorlax costume specifically suited for someone of my size (6'3 and bulky) because it's a giant bean bag costume. the costume in only HALF done and have been working on it for a year and a half (Lack of money, its a slowwww progress)

I've never cosplayed before, but really want to.

However, I don't have the money to go buy materials. Need to get a job first XD

But then, I don't think I'd want to do actual characters at first, due to my inability to stick to patterns :P I'd probably test out a few of my Original Character designs for stories I've written.
Then when I had at least some skill or experience, I would start doing the characters I love XD

Money first though. Always first :S
