| Free! Nanase Haruka loved to be in the water - loved swimming. In elementary school, Nanase Haruka, Tachibana Makoto, Matsuoka Rin, and Hazuki Nagisa attended the same swimming class together. Time passed, and as Haruka was living an uneventful high school life, he suddenly encountered Rin again. Rin challenged Haruka to a race and showed him how much stronger he had become. Soon enough, Makoto and Nagisa also rejoined the group, and along with a new classmate, Ryugazaki Rei, they established the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. |

Free! Episode 003 Discussion
Best episode thus far. It's extremely hilarious and Rei is challenging Makoto as my bias. He's got the glasses, he's got the blush, and he's got the shy. He is slightly a little too tsun-tsun for my tastes, but he's a great character.
There was so much to enjoy here though. From Rei not being able to swim, to Nagisa's derp, to Haru's dread of swimming, etc. The jokes keep going which is what makes it so enjoyable. On a fan-service level, can we just have more speedo, all the time? Just sayin'
