Bakemonogatari
Hey guys, I just wanted to make a post about a recent anime that I've gotten into. It's called:
Bakemonogatari centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who is almost human again after briefly becoming a vampire. One day, a classmate named Hitagi Senjōgahara, who never talks to anyone, falls down the stairs into Koyomi's arms. He discovers that Hitagi weighs next to nothing, in defiance of physics. Despite being threatened by her to keep away, Koyomi offers his help, and introduces her to Meme Oshino, a strange middle-aged man living in an abandoned building, who cured him of being a vampire. Once Koyomi helps solve Hitagi's problem, she agrees to become his friend, and later his girlfriend. This pretty much leads into an awesome series where it's a mix of slice of life, romance, comedy and even some action. It's an interesting anime that is worth the watch, has quite a few seasons out and more to come. If anyone has seen it, what are your thoughtss? |

Re: Bakemonogatari
I've had this sitting in my CR queue for months. I made it through Ep 1 before getting side tracked by other shows (bad Maki bad!!!)
Definitely need to finish this so I can move on to Nisemonogatari, which has also been sitting in my CR queue for months! XD

For sure! I definitely just started looking into it due to a few fan auditions that I performed and I was thinking
"hmmm ... what is this show even about? o_O" And now I know. I love it |

Re: Bakemonogatari
Finished Bakemonogatari...what a gem. Loved the animation method. The odd angles and scene cuts along with the random inserts for emotion, etc was really cool. Looking forward to season 2 later this year.
Started Nisemonogatari and it picks up nicely from where Bakemonogatari left off. Thanks for motivating me to finish it, Musamichi! :D
