totally random to find all that about Howls to one impression of mind, IMHO I think that the overall story is just beyond epic and the animation to be absolutly beautiful, the characters voices were a perfect match, and like you said the movie left open some major plot holes... Still pretty good

I've always been a big fan of Dianna Wynn Jones & I adore the Howl novels. I especially love how she frequently describes Sophie as a "hale old woman."
But honestly, Dianna's best work is the Dalemark Quartet. If you haven't read it, I -highly- recommend it! |

*squeal* Diana Wynne Jones recs! <33 I love you now.
I'm currently reading Dogsbody which is way darker than anything else I've read by her. Howl will always have a special place in my heart, though, because it was the first book that really pulled me into reading outside of Animorphs. |
