Desucon is a Finnish convention for the fans of Japanese animation and comics. Since it was first organised in June 2009, the annual Desucon has been continuosly ranked among the very best Finnish anime and manga conventions. Events featured include lectures, cosplay, maid café, artists' alley, dealers' room, game corner and video screenings. Desucon has also hosted numerous Japanese guests ranging from seiyuus and singers to mangakas, lecturers and directors.

Desucon Frostbite is an annual winter convention first organized in January 2011. The concept is the same as in Desucon with the exception of Frostbite offering program also to new fans of the scene such as workshops and interactive lectures. Both Desucon and Frostbite have been selling out since 2011 and with their 2,800 visitors and nearly all program in Finnish they can mainly serve domestic audience only. However, tickets to both events can be bought and shipped worldwide and any organizer of a foreign convention is welcome to attend free of charge.
