In all honesty, the very first anime I ever saw was actually sailor moon, of all things. Right after that, DBZ. I would watch it during toonami with my dad when I was like 8 or 9

my first would b pokemon and dragon ball z(or dragon ball).i used to luv pokemon but now i just think they overstretched more than they should hav.dbz did a pretty good job but dragon ball ft wasnt all that great(at least its non canon).pokemon season 1-3(kanto,orange islands,and johto right?) i thought was awsome

First anime i saw was Sailormoon (DIC dub) but that was when i was around 3-5 so i can't remember a whole lot.
I did not enjoy anime till...Dragonball Z happened. Then Dragonball and when i first saw Adult Swim, Cowboy bebop and Trigun (gotta love Vash)
So my first real anime was indeed Dragonball Z :D

pokemon was mine, but my mom claimed it to be evil,, so i wasn't ever able to watch it again until i was 16... sad isn't it? lol basically was when i started watching more anime then.

hum... DBZ was my first I believe, twas a wonderful series, I recommend you watch the abridged series as well, quite entertaining and worthy of a blogged "lol" or two

Pokemon, Digimon, and DBZ. First anime I knew were anime: Tenchi Muyo, Inuyasha, and Gundam Wing.

Tekkaman Blade, when they used to show it on UPN. This was also before I knew what anime was. First one I realized these things came from Japan was Pokemon, when my dad randomly pointed it out one Saturday morning.

My first anime was actually Card captor but I got bored of it and continued to watch cartoons untill my friend gave his stack of pokemon cards, Wanting to know what they did I went and watched pokemon then it was Inuyasha and Full moon wo (something or other cant spell) ^.^

I think I first started watching anime regularly as my kids watched Voltron and Sailor Moon after school. I'd seen some little before, but my work schedule at the time limited my tv viewing to afternoons.

My first anime ever was DBZ. It is still quite possibly my favorite anime of all time. XD
