In all honesty, the very first anime I ever saw was actually sailor moon, of all things. Right after that, DBZ. I would watch it during toonami with my dad when I was like 8 or 9

my first would b pokemon and dragon ball z(or dragon ball).i used to luv pokemon but now i just think they overstretched more than they should hav.dbz did a pretty good job but dragon ball ft wasnt all that great(at least its non canon).pokemon season 1-3(kanto,orange islands,and johto right?) i thought was awsome

First anime i saw was Sailormoon (DIC dub) but that was when i was around 3-5 so i can't remember a whole lot.
I did not enjoy anime till...Dragonball Z happened. Then Dragonball and when i first saw Adult Swim, Cowboy bebop and Trigun (gotta love Vash)
So my first real anime was indeed Dragonball Z :D

pokemon was mine, but my mom claimed it to be evil,, so i wasn't ever able to watch it again until i was 16... sad isn't it? lol basically was when i started watching more anime then.

hum... DBZ was my first I believe, twas a wonderful series, I recommend you watch the abridged series as well, quite entertaining and worthy of a blogged "lol" or two

Pokemon, Digimon, and DBZ. First anime I knew were anime: Tenchi Muyo, Inuyasha, and Gundam Wing.

Tekkaman Blade, when they used to show it on UPN. This was also before I knew what anime was. First one I realized these things came from Japan was Pokemon, when my dad randomly pointed it out one Saturday morning.

My first anime was actually Card captor but I got bored of it and continued to watch cartoons untill my friend gave his stack of pokemon cards, Wanting to know what they did I went and watched pokemon then it was Inuyasha and Full moon wo (something or other cant spell) ^.^

I think I first started watching anime regularly as my kids watched Voltron and Sailor Moon after school. I'd seen some little before, but my work schedule at the time limited my tv viewing to afternoons.

I had a hard time figuring out what Anime I watched from the lack I seen in the past 7 or so years. Might as well tell you what I saw that was kinda like Anime and What is definitely is:

• Dragon Ball Z
• Pokemon
• Digimon
• Transformers: Robots in Disguise (a CGI-mixed with Animation, possibly the one where Neil Kaplan voiced over)
• Yu-Gi-Oh! (watched this in the most horrible situation: Static)
• CardCaptors (dubbed and same situation as Yu-Gi-Oh!...Static on T.V.)
• Possibly Gundam but not sure...(watched it over at some kid's house while there was a party going on around
• Sailor Moon...but not sure...as I can't remember because I saw this only for one moment and nothing else

I'm PRETTY sure my first anime was Gundam Wing. . .it was one of the Gundams; I know that for certain because my dad brainwashed me with them all. =A=;;;

Hmm first Anime I ever saw. I believe it was Robotech (Macross) that was my first anime. Either that or it was Dragonball Z. I just can't remember.

My first ever? That would be Ronin Warriors and I had no clue what anime was or even knew that that's what I was watching lol. First one I watched while actually knowing what anime was would be Bubble Gum Crisis Tokyo 2040.

yeah when it comes to KNOWING what anime was it would be Pokemon for me but I ironicly was watched some DBZ by then and what got me hooked was Outlaw Star

It was Cardcaptor Sakura, the British dub that was shown on Nickelodeon back in the 90's, I loved that show soooo much but nobody else seemed to care about it. I rediscovered it 10 years later :D

It was almost Pokemon though, after Misty left I stopped watching, ugh.

My Neighbor Totoro, the original dub. FAVORITE MOVIE EVAH!

Than I found out about pokemon. Which sadly was my first anime series. Than came Outlaw star. The rest is history.

I'd have to say its Pokemon but honestly? I don't remember. Its been a while. I can faintly remember Sailor Moon as well but I'm sure I didn't watch it.

I haven't posted here yet :o My first anime was Pokemon or Sailor Moon, I saw both first at around the same time. The first anime I really got into in my recent interests is Haruhi Suzumiya.
