We managed to get a word or two from the famed actor, Reuben Langdon. You most likely know him from one of his video game roles, including Dante from Devil May Cry, Ken from Street Fighter, or Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 5. Film adaptations tend to stray from the original books to an extent. However, Hayao Miyazaki took Diana Wynne Jones’ themes and inserted the characters into a completely different storyline. The book and movie of Howl’s Moving Castle are two separate stories, with countless alterations, and several striking similarities.
