Your Background Story

Everyone at one point or another has been asked the clichéd question "Where did you come from?"
So I'd like to ask everyone what would/did you say?
Rules: Follow the Forum rules and try to be imaginative.

Where I came from:
My family and I are from Tartarus where we were members of a theivs guild. We broke into the royal place, got caught and was exiled from the planet. We joined a merchant caravan that was eventually shanghaied by pirates. Long story short we escaped the pirates, rode with a band of gypsys for a while, and joined a polka band that was touring on Earth, however they disbaned with a fight over a piece of cheesecake and left us stranded. We are currently waiting for the next tear in the time space continuum so we can jump to planet Seres. :smile:
