There is no better tagline to start with than the one provided on the back of the case:
Deathsmiles is a horizontal Bullet-Hell Shooter, or Manic Shooter, released for the Xbox 360 by Cave, creators of Donpachi and Mushihime-sama. The game involves 4 girls (5 for Mega Black Label), who live in a dark land called Gilverado. It turns out that they are actually from our world, referred to as the Real World. They figure out that someone is opening a portal to the Real World and attempt to find out the cause.
The way this LP will work is that I will go through each character on setting Level 3, the hardest setting in normal gameplay, and show each character's endings. Then I will play the game on Level 999, a mode exclusive to Mega Black Label and is by far the hardest difficulty setting.
