Spiral Knights

So if any of you, like me, are pretty into webcomics, you may have heard of Ian McConville, who currently draws Three Panel Soul and used to do MacHall.

He has recently been working on a game called Spiral Knights, a PC game that he aptly describes as a cross between Phantasy Star Online (dungeon crawler with lots of lot) and the 2-D Zelda (top down hack and slash gameplay). It's free to play on their website, and definitely worth a look.

*EDIT*

Oh, and I should mention that the game does run off of microtransactions similar to how Echobazaar does it. Basically to proceed into a dungeon, and each subsequent level of it, it costs 10 energy. You generate energy automatically at a rate of 1 unit for 15 or so minutes, so it'll take you about a day to get the maximum of 100 energy. If you pay cash you can get a special form of energy that you can store more than 100 units of. Of course if you don't want to pay cash you can always buy this other energy for large amounts of in-game cash.

If anyone decides to play, look me up:
