I think in essence it is a great cause, but I don't really like the organization.
When this video went viral last week, or the week before, I can't remember, I did a little research. The video is rather misleading, considering Kony hasn't been in Uganda since 2006. The organization doesn't seem to be doing much with their money, not a whole lot actually goes to the cause, but mostly I don't understand why they want the American military to intervene, it's going to start a war in which they're killing the children they're trying to save.
A lot of people were inspired by the video and were suddenly social activists without actually looking into the cause, to see if everything in that video was true. No doubt Kony needs to be gone away with, but Invisible Children doesn't seem to be the most reputable group.
