If you step back in time, I highly suggest Cowboy Bebop if you haven't already.
As far as more recent things are concerned, Air Gear (which I just finished) is awesome, if you can stand emotional, gripping stories, try Clannad, or if you want something funny go with Lucky Star. 
There's some of my suggestions. :3
