This lasts until March 14th, they speed through Gen 1 and Gen 2 games to complete the Pokedex in both games, they do chat discussion while you watch others play games. All proceeds go to charity.
Last year when the Japanese HG/SS was released they did things such as bidding on Legends with special nicknames to be traded to (at the time) DPPt holders.
This year's donation is going toward ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Pretty fun to watch, I've donated at least $20 last year just to give pokemon specific nicknames.
I'll be watching the speed run, I'll be under the name Raigetsu83 if your curious, they're currently at $6002
