Re: I'm trying to remember the name of a series.

This reminds me of that one ep of Cromartie High School where they get an entire gym full of students to hum a tune that the main characters are trying to remember the name of.

Re: First Ever Animes you saw?

Silverhawks was sorta my first big obsession with anime, if we're counting stuff like that and...

Re: Ima Let You Finish.

"Yo Robert Pattinson, I'm real happy for ya an' I'm-a let you finish. But Crispin Freeman played the best vampire of all time."

Re: What Anime-related things do you collect?

Apart from the basics (DVD's, manga and Pocky) I'm a big fan of toys and figures. Posters, but I've got way more rock band and video game posters than anime ones. My latest obsession has been Figma...

Re: Anyone into Mecha Anime??

I like mecha, though I don't like it as much when mecha is the /only/ thing a show has going for it. Code Geass is frickin' amazing but has a crazy twisting plot and fun characters in addition to...

Re: Wyclef Jean's Yele Organization Raises $1 Million In Aid For Haiti!

That's good news, it's nice to see people helping the Haitians after the horrible year they've had. It's like 2012 came early there or something.

Re: Dungeons and Dragons

I've played a ton of different types of pen-and-paper RPGs (mostly at college) but a lot of the people I've played with just suck at it, sadly. I've got a few good friends who are even more into the...

Re: Bring Toonami Back (I wish :P)

I think that's a good thing. These companies still have a bottom line they have to look out for and using ads to create revenue and monetize the system gives them the ability to do that.

Re: What would you do if you woke up in bed with the poster above you?

Wonder when I started going out with a small pixelated guy. Is it gay if it's with a vidya game sprite?

I think we can all agree this is awesome and completely true.

Hilarious webcomics on the matter aside, I just think the big vampire craze is just the...

Re: What anime genres do you like to watch?

I'm big on shounen anime. As long as it isn't too ridiculous or goofy or contrived (couldn't ever get into One Piece, for instance) I'll probably get a kick out of it. The latest one I've been...

Re: Recently Finished..

The last one I can say that I actually finished was Nabari no Ou (sub on the FUNimation video portal.) I was told about it a local anime con a few months back by a few friends and decided to check it...

Re: Bring Toonami Back (I wish :P)

Well, I have two roommates who are even less TV-inclined than I, so if I wanted TV I'd have to pay for it all by myself and considering I'm a cheap-skate, not gunna happen. X3

I have been watching...

Re: Character Quotes

I love FruBa. It's one of those shows that worms its way into your very soul and really changes you. Like, it's just common habit for me to now tell people "Be safe" when saying goodbye. No lie.

Re: Bring Toonami Back (I wish :P)

Aww dude, I watched all of Tenchi Muyo, Blue Sub 6, and Outlaw Star on Toonami. And then it stopped and I just sorta fell out of the Cartoon Network fandom and turned to internets TV for my anime. =3

Re: Sub Vs Dub which do you like

A lot of times for me, it depends on the initial point of contact. I saw Cowboy Bebop fansubbed years before I saw an episode of the English translation and even though the dub is pretty much...

Re: Do you buy your anime DVDs as boxsets or volumes?

It really depends. Box-sets are nice for older shows or for saving money, but some newer releases I'll just get individual discs rather than wait for a box. For instance, I got all of Higurashi, Code...
