Favorite game main character and main villain

wats your Favorite game main character and main villain and why?

Mine are Zack Fair (FF VII Crisis Core) because he is really awesome but dies a really messed up way

AND fav villain is SA-X (Metriod Fusion GBA) because the blasted thing drove crazy trying to get away from it,but it still looked cool.

Hmm thats a tough one

Fav. Main: that will be Raiden from Metal Gear Solid
He's a Cyborg ninja, like Holy Cow!! Watch out Robot Cop

as for my Fav. Villian guess it will be Ganondorf
He has been mostly in all the LOZ, and once you face off with Gannon or Ganondorf
You know that you got yourself a Epic Battle

Favorite hero is tough. I don't really like most heroes, they tend to be fairly bland in that it always comes down to "doing the right thing, because it's the right thing" so all heroes sort of end up with painfully similar characters. I'm inclined to say Ashley Winchester, if only because Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition is one of my favorite games. Besides that, he did have an extraordinarily cute romance going with his main love interest, with some of the most lovably quirky love speeches I've ever seen.

Favorite villain probably comes down to Luca Blight of the Highland Imperial royal family, from Suikoden II. Aside from easily being one of the most legitimately fearsome villains in a video game, he was given a surprising amount of character development, even if it all still boiled down to him being a cold blooded sociopath, ruthless parricidal dictator, and a generally homicidal maniac. The whole first half or so of the game you spend running from his army as he burns down towns full of innocent people, and when you finally build up the forces to confront him, you first have to lure him into a trap, and then send 3 full 6-man parties of level 50+ heroes after him, all of whom he defeats, until finally, after singlehandedly fending off 18 of your heroes, he takes a volley of arrows directly to the chest that leaves him just weak enough for your main character to challenge him to an even one-on-one duel. By the time he finally drops you honestly expect him to just get right back up.
