DCU and Mervel movie-verse

So I don't know if you guys have seen the DCU apparent movie schedule, but it is pretty crazy and ballsy, as is the Marvel line-up of films. I want to know what you guys think of the films, the potential, and the past and the impact of the shared universes. Also how Marvel is tying tv shows with the films, and how DC is not doing that, but having a shared universe in the tv shows.

I think DC and Marvel have their own strengths. Where as I think DC is allowed to be dark and gritty ("Flashpoint Paradox", and "Batman: Assault of Arkham" with the use of Animation, and can tell long drawn out stories with their television series.

Marvel with is more action packed and with things like Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men, the movie budget allows for great effects, and the time frame of a movie condenses the stories of the Marvel films so the effects don't get tiring.

Personally, I'm more of a fan of the DC universe, I just enjoy the stories more.

I actually think Dc excels in the T.V. series market and Marvel does better with movies

Deadpool was better than expected. Age of Apocalypse was ok. It could have been better, but Quicksilver got more air time, and that was good. Civil War was a fairly heavy disapointment compared to the comics, but still a great movie on it's own merits.

Super pumped for a standalone Spider-Man movie.

On the DC side I really liked Batman vs Superman, but it had it's issues...
