Anime Tattoos

Anime is something that I will always have as a part of my life. This is something I decided years ago. In my opinion, the first rule of getting a tattoo is would you, 5 years from now, want this image on your body still. Would you have gotten it 5 years ago and still be happy with it? I got my first tattoo last year, the Fairy Tail guild emblem on my right shoulder, and I plan to get my second this year when the weather warms up in March/April. I already know I'm going for Nami's tattoo on my left shoulder, but I'm not sure what else I would want. I want to eventually be the anime tattoo guy, but I don't want them all to be from the same series. I really want my 3rd to be Sword Art Online related, but can't think of anything that would lend itself to a tattoo well other than Kirito's Elucidator. Here's some ideas I have for the future.

The Straw Hats Jolly Roger
Kiritsugu's command seal from Fate/Zero
Something from FMA, probably the Ouroboros

If you guys have any good ideas, I'm willing to consider them

Well I have some ideas for tattoos I wanna get for example the Geass in on of my arms, Ichigo hollow mas in my chest, the persona Izanagi in my back and lastly the seal command of Shiro for, fate/stay night in one of my harms.

I personal haven gotten a tattoo because I still live with my parents and well they don't like the idea of me getting a tattoo, so I will have to wait a couple of more years when I live by my self

Christmas, I will give you $100 if you got some type of tattoo of Asuna (not her sword, logo...HER!) on your forearm!

Maki you will have to do better than that cause I don't think those 100 dollars are not going to be enought to paid a tattoo like that lol

With the dub of Fate/Zero coming, I really want to get one on my hand. specifically Rider's command seal. Saber is overrated

It's weird cause I have like 6 tattoo ideas planned, and just realized none of them anime.
Now I feel I need to work one in. Hmmm this will be fun!

Re: Anime Tattoos

I prefer to do symbols instead of actual characters. I feel like not only is that easier on the tattoo artist, but it's easier to explain to people, whether they watch anime or not. I had a bunch of people at Youmacon ask what my tattoos are from despite them both being from fairly big shows
