"Hanami - Con meets Festival" is a volunteer, organized by fans for fans event, which is aimed at enthusiasts of Japanese life and culture and comic combines the traditional aspects of a festival, and a modern convention. The Hanami is held annually in early May in Ludwigshafen am Rhein (DE) instead. The program covers everything, from how the taiko drums or various show acts, through workshops, costume or so-called "cosplay" contests, video game, film and martial arts displays to karaoke, quizzes and all sorts of other interactive options.
