Hello all, I am the Mecha Girl.

I'm a 25 year old woman who has been a long time fan of anime; even before I learned what anime was. Like many of the older crowd I remember waking up early to watch the classics like Sailor Moon, DragonBall, Ronin Warriors, Samurai Pizza Cats and others.

Since then I have been hooked on anime and manga. As you can guess by my name I'm a mecha otaku to the core. I love it with my whole heart and gun-soul. My favorites are the more obscure mecha animes such as Giant Gorg, Steam Detectives and my latest obsession Shippu! Iron Leaguer.

I'm also a mecha cosplayer; which is how I got my nickname as the mecha girl by my friends.

As to how I found 91.8 the Fan; it was when I started my new job. I needed a station that had great music all day and next to no commercials. Since the I've been listening to 91.8 the Fan for going on three years now. I'd be bored all day if I didn't have music to listen to. Finally I decided to stop stalking and actually join the forums.

Hi Christmas. I know, it sound like an evil lie but it's not. XD But if it makes you feel better I can hide in one of my mecha cosplays to hide that fact. Heh, I've had so many people gasp and explain, 'Your a girl?!' when I'm a conventions. Many people just can believe that a woman would cosplay robots. It's funny to break their logic.

Hello Henshin. X3 I'll grab a sentai mech any day. Though gundams, transformers, and brave series robots are always welcome too. Now your dragging me on the IRC; I'll have to pop on tonight and say hi.

Great to see a mecha fan, though I can't quite call you "new." It's a somewhat dying genre, so having some more fans around to chat things up with and spread the word is always welcome! I know the Anime subforum under Entertainment is a little empty, but feel free to start a thread and let us know what you've been watching!

Another Brave fan. ^-^ Good to know that there is at least one other yuusha fan here. I'm definately not the only girl that loves the Brave series. I actually blame my friend Cy for getting me addicted. She is the biggest Volfogg fan ever.
