Pacific Rim Discussion

This is a thread to dicuss the film Pacific Film directed by Del Toro which features giant monsters fighting humanity who builds giant robots to fight them off. It is an over-the-top and amazing film that is probably one of my favorite films in a long time.

Well so far I have seen this movie 3 times now and I love it, I know most is CGI but who cares Gillermo del Toro really pull it off in a fantastic way, and I know a few people that think this movie is some sort of reap off of power rangers (Gigantic robots Vs. gigantic monsters) and to them I got to say you are so wrong in so many ways its funny

Del Toro is my man. I'm really hoping Legendary Pictures doesn't botch up this Godzilla remake either. If not, I'm thinking high hopes for monster movies in the future.

It was an AMAZING movie, just absolutely amazing. One thing I would'e liked, was that if the robot was a little more OP when fighting monsters. Gipsie was this, iconic robot, with a perfection union of minds, but it never left a battle without some kind of thrashing. I was hoping for a battle or two with it walking away, having a flawless victory.
