Favorite 10 series, eh? Wish limit was 50. Oh well, here goes:

1. FLCL (all-time no.1 fav)
2. Cowboy Bebop (TV eps + movie sequel). Big draw was the Yoko Kanno jazz..
3.Welcome to the NHK
4.Neon Genesis Evangelion
5.Kimi ga Nogomu Eien (aka Rumbling Hearts)
6.Blue Submarine 6 (some philosophic gibberish, but love the Siamesy fish)
7.Kurokami the Animation (aka Black God in the manga versions)
8.Please Twins (wish main characters were depicted 2-3 years older though)
9.Planetes (most realistic depiction of a CEO I have ever seen in anime or movies since the movie "Parenthood")
10.Zoku Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei (pt.1 is a hoot, pt.2 gets too repetitive ~ pt.1)

Favorite movie (not anime) filmed in b&w: Seven Samurai (aka Shichinin no Samurai directed by Akira Kurosawa, 1954 release)

I don't branch out much, and my favorites are a little cliche, but here's my top 10:
1.) Fruits Basket (Manga more than anime, but I still love it)
2.) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (Manga and anime both)
3.) Naruto (Stupid series got me addicted 4 years ago! Ahaha)
4.) Red River (Aka, Anatolia Story. Manga only)
5.) Bleach (Basically everything from the Arancar arc back)
6.) Negima! (Manga, anime, second anime, second manga)
7.) Death Note (Love the originality and it's amazing for a short shonen series!)
8.) Vampire Knight (More of a manga fan)
9.) Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga, second anime series. Not a fan of the eff up on the first series, but it was decently well made...)
10.) Chibi Vampire (Aka Karin, manga only, haven't watched the anime!)

This was difficult after the seventh one. Ahaha. I'm more well-rounded after a few main anime series, so it was slightly difficult... Like, I'm still an expert on other series like Loveless, InuYasha, Kodocha, and Chobits, but I wouldn't consider them my favorites. ^^;

My taste in anime and manga don't waver much when it comes to adaptations of manga to anime or vice versa, but top manga in no particular order:
-xxxHolic
-Vassalord
- Bride of the Water God (though not japanese)
- Wallflower
-Detective Conan
- Camelot Garden
- Clover
- Legal Drug
- Godchild
- Loveless

Others that didn't make it on the list though I loves thems: Marmalade Boy, Kodocha, Kare Kano and some of that other sugary, girly crap I grew up on.

Ugh, I love Bride of the Water God and xxxHolic, too! Totally forgot to mention those! lol. Probably forgot because I don't own them, my school library does....

OH, I want to add Alice in the Kingdom of Hearts where Camelot Garden is on my list. I just bought it and it is the best! especially if you have a thing for bishis in glasses (there are lots of 'em)

Future Diary is great, bloody and sick, but great.
