We don't have Thanksgiving down here, and I've never had turkey before. What's it like?

It is delicious!

I would describe it as a bit heavier than chicken...and also (when cooked correctly at least) slightly more succulent. Thanksgiving Turkey makes you drowsy though o.o ... so worth it.

Best part of Thanksgiving though is the Candied Yams...zomg #holy

Gotta ask, Jubi: stuffing or dressing with that turkey?

I dunno...half of my family calls it dressing, the other half stuffing. I often find myself saying both...But I'll go with stuffing as I feel I use it a bit more :awesome:

Stuffing is cooked inside the turkey and is thus usually more moist. Dressing is cooked separately. I prefer stuffing, as it absorbs more flavor from the bird.

Huh...I always thought they were the same thing...in that case stuffing for sure, then. :awesome:

Turkey and stuffing, huh? Sounds like yum, but is it really? #oh?

What? When I think of dressing, I think of salad dressing, like ranch or italian. When I think of stuffing, I think of croutons stuffed inside a turkey. They're two completely different things to me :P

I think everyone will agree when I say, if only one kind of pie should exist, it should be Pumpkin!
