Anime Fest Wichita
 

I know this is last moment since this convention will be held next week in Wichita KS on July 8,9, and 10th but if people are interested in coming by all means please do. Here is the website (btw I know its really not all that great of a web site T_T I think some one will be fired for that soon...I hope) http://afwcon.org/ anyways the sad part of are con though is that one of our guest was the late Cassandra Hodges that just sadly passed away a few days ago.

Another Kansan!

I was thinking about going this year...but have been on the ropes about it. Since going to school in KC, I have no real contact from my friends I had down there in High school...no fun to go by myself :P

Also, tis very sad about Cassandra indeed :(

Well I can say it is very very surprising how easy it is to make new friends at this convention. The vendors aren't that good and the scheduling sucks but the guest and the people are AWESOME. I know how stupid this is going to sound but the main real focus of this con seems to be the cosplayers.
