Anime Eyes Needed...

Im trying to draw anime eyes... and no matter what I draw, I cant make the right one that will fit perfectly ... I just wondered if anyone could show me anime eyes they have drawn or found on the net so I can get a rough idea what to look for, I won't steal any ideas and if I do use one I will ask for your consent and I will make sure that I will put you as who gave the idea for the outcome.

One last thing for the mods or bosses... If this is in the wrong thread please let me know, I just thought anime... anime eyes... must kinda be related...

Thanks Everybody ^^ #hand

Hmmmmm Mark Crilley is always a good place to go when you need drawing help... Here are two of his videos..

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2sc8S3rvjlw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2sc8S3rvjlw?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NOHAPxldtI4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NOHAPxldtI4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I hope this helps. I found eyes to be hard when I first started. I highly recommend guidelines to help, but I'm hardly expert enough to tell you what to do. Good luck! Btw, this thread's in the right spot, no worries.

Yes, drawing eyes is especially hard if you don't see how others do them.
I did mine on some of Crilley's 100 eyes video and one of Haruhi Suzumiya's eyes (a fanart in fact) just for the practice.

Don't forget looking around Deviantart too if you know what that is, which you probably do. There are always tutorials and such if I remember correctly. (haven't really been there for a while, but I don't think it would have changed much.)

I'll hold you to it :P Just kidding. Enjoy drawing! Actually, you should think about doing the 365 challenge! It's where you draw something new every day for a year. I started it as a new years resolution on the 1st. Just a couple weeks in and I feel myself improving, becoming faster and more efficient with my lines. Give it a shot if you want!

Just remember, learning is always good, but it's also important to have your own design when it comes to eyes, look at Shotaro Ishinomori

I turn to Mark Crilley videos on a regular basis when I need help with clothing folds and other basics because seeing someone ACTUALLY draw it in front of you really helps you get a hold of the process..... As for the banana man......... I haven't the slightest clue.... Maybe I should hold a contest for best caption! XD
